Cooking courses
CUINA DE TOSSA: We hold a cooking course one afternoon a week. Two chefs from Tossa show how to prepare traditional dishes with specialities from Tossa and Catalan cuisine: "cim i tomba", "calamars farcits i mandonguilles", "arròs de cabra", "arròs de paraigüero", "sípia amb pèsols", "mar i muntanya", "arròs negre", "fideus a la cassola", etc. Clients participate sharing both tables and food.

INGREDIENTS (for 1 kg of flour) : 100 gr baking powder ¼ kg of lard/butter 5 eggs 200 gr sugar milk 1 grated lemon peel 1 cup of anis
PREPARATION : Work the baking powder with hot water and adding a little flour make a light dough, leaving it a couple of hours to rise. While waiting for the dough to rise prepare the rest of the ingredients. Beat the eggs, add the sugar, melt the lard or butter, add a little milk, grated lemon and anis. Work the mixture well until it doesn’t stick to your hands. Then stretch out the dough add all the ingredients together and break and roll into small balls. Fry in deep pan and see what happens...
