Cooking courses
CUINA DE TOSSA: We hold a cooking course one afternoon a week. Two chefs from Tossa show how to prepare traditional dishes with specialities from Tossa and Catalan cuisine: "cim i tomba", "calamars farcits i mandonguilles", "arròs de cabra", "arròs de paraigüero", "sípia amb pèsols", "mar i muntanya", "arròs negre", "fideus a la cassola", etc. Clients participate sharing both tables and food. Cremat
INGREDIENTS.
Cognac 20 gr sugar Rum 1/4 cup of coffee + coffee beans Liquor Lemon peel Stick of cinnamon
PREPARATION:
Put the cognac and rum into an earthenware pan and burn while adding the sugar so that it catches fire. Once it is burning add the cinnamon, lemon peel and then the liquor and leave it to burn. When the flame starts burning out mix in the coffee and stir well and serve hot. The fishermen from "Empordà" used to make the "cremat" while sing songs about the sea.
("Cremat" means burnt)
