Come and visit IMMA

Hello ! My name is Imma. I am a young fox and I was born in the woods of Tossa. One day in the summer of 2005, I was walking in front of “Cala Futadera” and I didn’t listen to my parents and, as you can see in the photo, I was knocked down by a car. I was lucky because a cyclist found me and took me straight to Lidia, the vet. Even though I was unable to run anymore through the woods, a taxidermist in Cassà de la Selva did some “plastic surgery” and made me very beautiful so that I could live amongst the people who appreciate me.

We live in the woods and are very solitary animals, who eat everything. During the day we hide, we come out as it gets dark to run around and eat. We are a protected specie and the good hunters know, respect and admire us. I am under a transparent hood in the office of the campsite, to remind you that, even though you don’t see us, we are living close by.
